TL-41-209 Update 2

Updated 1/13 with photos! See below.

Yesterday we spent the much of the morning and part of the afternoon at Har Herzl and Yad Vashem. Both destinations were jarring and emotionally impact. In our unpacking and sharing session later in the day, I was impressed with how well many of the participants were able to express their feelings.

After these two heavy places, we immersed ourselves in the vibrant market in Jerusalem, Mahane Yehuda. The colors, smells, and endless Jewish symbolism served as a bright spot for a dark day. Through the darkness and into the light, Israel remains ha’tikvah of Jews all over the world.
