In response to the October 7th attacks, Israelis of all backgrounds united around a collective volunteering effort in support of the displaced border communities and the security services. In this unique moment of need, we invite you to rally your support for the people of Israel, in Israel.
Onward Volunteer is an 8 or 14-day experience funded by Birthright Israel. Each trip hosts Jewish travelers (age 18-40) from around the world for the opportunity to volunteer, connect, and renew together.

Your part begins by registering for the track of your choice (see above). We'll follow-up to interview you, discuss next steps, and get you ready for this important journey together. Once accepted, you'll submit a non-refundable $50 USD registration fee and a fully refundable $250 USD trip deposit.

FLYING TO ISRAEL
Arrange your own flight and get reimbursed as follows:
North America: $700 USD
Europe & FSU: $500 USD
Latin America: $900 USD
Other Countries: $700 USD
Reimbursements are issued following program completion with a receipt. Reimbursements cannot exceed the ticket cost.
Reimbursements are available for flights starting February 26
You can use any airline and can arrive early or extend post-trip
EL AL Airlines 20% Discount Code
An additional discount code is available for volunteers flying non-stop roundtrip with EL AL Airlines. Blackout dates apply for flights to TLV departing after March 31 and flights from TLV departing between April 3-20 or April 27-May 5. The discount and flight reimbursement can be combined. The discount code is provided after you register.

Safe travel during a time of conflict
While these are difficult days in Israel, this organized volunteering initiative will proceed only if we are confident in being able to provide a safe and meaningful travel experience. Rest assured that we provide 24 x 7 staff supervision, all of our accommodations are equipped with "safe rooms", and we travel together as a group for organized programming.
