Our arrival in Israel

Here is the update from the first day!

After what felt like a full day of travel, our group has touched down in Israel. For many, this has been the first time stepping foot in Israel. Although tired from the travels and COVID-19 screenings, the group was upbeat and ready to start the trip. We arrived late in the evening at our first hotel at Kibbutz Amiad. For our first full day the group started the morning with a hike up Mount Meron. They then learned bout Kabbalah, also known as Jewish mysticism, in the city of Tzfat and were given an opportunity to explore the city on their own. We then ended the day by visiting Amiad Winery, eating dinner, and participating in evening activities.
