Updates from Israel

We arrived in Israel yesterday around noon after a short delay out of Canada. We met up with our guide Marina who has been great. We stopped for lunch in Zikhron Ya’akov then checked into our gorgeous beachfront hotel. We’re currently on our way to the Gadot Lookout and Jordan River for hiking and rafting.

Over the last few days we have visited the aqueducts in Caesarea and the HaShalom Overlook (where we learned about our history with the neighbors to the North and some important people in our fight for freedom and security like Eli Cohen), met our soldiers joining the trip, and rafted down the Jordan River!

We had an amazing first day! We got to walk through Ramat Hanadiv park, explore the city of Zikhron Ya’akov, and checked out the Bahai Gardens overlook! We are now on our way to check into our accommodations at the Metaylim Hotel, where we’ll have a few fun ice breakers!
