TL-46-383 Update 1

Boker tov! (Good morning!)

We arrived yesterday and dove right into exploring the country, making new friends, and setting the tone for the next 10 days.

We drove to the world heritage site Caesarea to see the famous historical aqueducts and started our trip with a l’chaim (cheers) to our journey, as well as a recitation of the Sheheckeyanu, a Jewish prayer that commemorates first occasions.

We then drove to our hotel that sits right on the beautiful Kineret (Sea of Galilee) for some much needed relaxation after a long day of traveling. We ended the day with a program where we shared our feelings and connection to the Jewish people.

This morning, we’re off to hike in Tel Dan, another historical site in the North. We’ll spend the afternoon rafting down the Jordan River.

We can’t wait for many more adventures!
