Yes, you can participate in up to two volunteer trips and still receive the Birthright Israel Onward funding for each one. The two trips do not need to be consecutive, and you will be responsible for your arrangements between trips.

Travelers are briefed ahead of arrival on the standard security protocols we follow. Although very rare at this point, travelers should be aware that there is a possibility they will be present for a rocket alert siren during our travels. Fortunately, Israel has sophisticated anti-rocket protections, and we will only travel in parts of the country that are away from the border areas where there is reasonable time to seek protection in the event a siren sounds.

If the security situation in Israel worsens, we will adjust the program as needed, and we will cancel the program if we are not confident in being able to provide a safe and meaningful volunteer experience in Israel.
