IMPORTANT – BIRTHRIGHT ISRAEL'S INSURANCE REQUIREMENT
Travelers on 10-day Birthright Israel trips MUST have health insurance valid in Israel. It's a program rule. If you are uninsured or if your home insurance does not cover international travel, you'll need a solution before you can travel
CTAS IS A LOW-COST SOLUTION
Purchasing travel insurance via CTAS is a quick and inexpensive way to fulfill Birthright Israel's requirement. CTAS policies are underwritten by Harel Insurance Company, Israel’s largest insurer.

IT ONLY COSTS $55

ALREADY HAVE MEDICAL COVERAGE ABROAD?
Even if you already have medical insurance abroad, you will likely pay out-of-pocket for medical costs in Israel and endure the hassle of a reimbursement claim from your home insurance company. With CTAS, you'd be covered like an Israeli with no copays or deductibles. Additionally, Birthright Israel highly recommends purchasing travel insurance, like CTAS, for the cancellation benefits.
