In response to the October 7th attacks, Israelis of all backgrounds united around a collective volunteering effort in support of the displaced border communities and the security services. In this moment of need, we invite you to rally your support for the people of Israel, in Israel.
The Onward Volunteer Program is funded by Birthright Israel for travelers age 18-40 – regardless of prior Israel program experience. This track is organized by Israel Outdoors in partnership with Trybal Gatherings. Connect with other Trybal campers from around the country and Israel.

Your part begins by registering for the track of your choice (see above). We'll follow-up to interview you, discuss next steps, and get you ready for this important journey together. Once accepted, you will submit a non-refundable $50 USD registration fee as well as a fully refundable $250 USD program deposit.

FLYING TO ISRAEL
Volunteers arrange their own flight to Tel Aviv receive a fight reimbursement as follows:
North America: $700 USD
Europe & FSU: $500 USD
Latin America: $900 USD
Other Countries: $700 USD
Reimbursements are issued following program completion with a receipt. Reimbursements cannot exceed the ticket cost. For more details, review our flight subsidy terms.

An additional discount code is available for volunteers flying non-stop roundtrip with EL AL Airlines. Blackout dates apply for flights to TLV departing after March 31 and flights from TLV departing between April 3-20 or April 27-May 5. The discount and flight reimbursement can be combined. Safe travel during a time of conflict
While these are difficult days in Israel, this organized volunteering initiative will proceed only if we are confident in being able to provide a safe and meaningful travel experience. Rest assured that we provide 24 x 7 staff supervision, all of our accommodations are equipped with "safe rooms", and we travel together as a group for organized programming.
