Bus 847 has had such a packed first 2 days in Israel! We arrived bright and early Tuesday morning, met our incredible tour guide, Bar, and headed up north! We started off in Caesarea and said the “shehecheyanu” blessing overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. From there, we strapped on our hiking shoes and ventured into Little Switzerland for our first hike. We continued getting in some breathtaking views (and some great pictures) in the Bahai Gardens in Haifa. On Day 2, our group was completed with the addition of 7 incredible Israelis in our Mifgash! We spent the day getting to know them and off-road together in jeeps! We drove to Jerusalem where we will spend the next few days, including having Shabbat together here. We can’t wait to continue exploring, journeying, and building community together for the next week!
