TL-50-480 Update 6
Our day started with an early wake up so we could volunteer at Kibbutz Nir Am prepping for their children to start back to school. The kibbutz had to evacuate on Oct 7th and after 10 months away are working to rebuild stronger. After an incredible experience in Nir Am we went to the near by city of Sderot where we saw the overlook into Gaza and ate lunch. After lunch we headed to the Nova party site where we paid witness to those murdered and taken hostage. We took some quiet time on the bus to process before arriving to our Bedoin experience. Feeding camels and donkeys lifted our spirits. We also enjoyed a beautiful sunset in the Negev followed by a night walk to find scorpions and a campfire. Tomorrow we head to the most visited national park in Israel, Masada.
