TL-50-480 Update 5

Our Israeli group members joined us bright and early. They jumped right in and we couldn’t be more excited to have them. Today was a day filled with immersion into Jerusalem life. We started our day with walking through the old city learning the history of Jerusalem as we made our way to the Kotel (the Western Wall). At the Kotel we enjoyed moments of connection as a group and individually with this sacred space. After the spiritual immersion at the Kotel we had a cultural immersion with time in Machaneh Yehuda (the shuk) and on Ben Yehuda Street (a popular shopping street). After a jam packed day experiencing Jerusalem we headed back to the hotel. Many took a dip in the pool and some even enjoyed the sauna. Before dinner we started our prep for the Nova site visit with a discussion of how Oct 7th impacted us and after dinner we heard a testimony from Shalev Biton, a Nova party survivor. We ended our night packing for the next two jam packed days.
