TL-50-100 UPDATE 7

Today was an adventurous day, be woken from sleep by a roosters call, from our exceptional guide at 3:50 AM. We began with a morning of tea and cookies before embarking on a breathtaking sunrise hike up Masada. After taking in the stunning views, we toured Masada and learned about the history and heroic story of the village of Jewish people who took their lives in order to die free instead of taken or killed by Romans. Before hiking down, we blessed Eliana and Silvian with their Bar/bat mitzvah by throwing candies and dancing in circles on the ancient grounds of the mountain. We hiked down and drove back to Kfar Hanokdim and had a unique experience feeding the camels who live there. 

Next, we headed to the Dead Sea for a relaxing float, enjoying the buoyant waters and salt crystal towers. Driving up desert mountains heading towards Tel Aviv from the dead sea, we swayed like waves washing through the ancient seas that once flooded all of Israel.
