TL-49-154 UPDATE 1

Shalom shalom!

Wow, here we goooo! So we met at the JFK airprot and had a nice long flight. Once we arrived in Israel, we got logistics settled (SIM cards, exchange money, and anything else needed to be sorted).

We then had some food and coffee, and then went to the site where David and Goliath fought and learned about that history.

We had a processing session, went over rules and expectations angain, and played some ice breakers.

The next day we ate a tasty breakfast
We then went to Ein ovdat and enjoyed the nature and time outside in such a beautiful surrounding.

We then went to the Ben Guran gravesite to learn history and explored the area.

We then met the Israeli participants who will be with us for the next 5 days. We then had a tasty lunch, followed by a jeep activity in the desert. We then returned to the hotel, had a reflective discussion regarding October 7th, ste dinner, then had a fro political discussion about the current situation and the history of the Arab and Israel war.

What a good first two days- folks are bonding, learning about each other, ansd asking important questions.

Let’s see what’s next on this journey.

Photos in next email 🙂

With appreciation,
