Our first full day together was a blast! We began the morning with a drive to Tel Dan. When we arrived we had a conversation about Jewish collective memory, and learned a bit about the history of Tel Dan. We visited Tel Facher and learned about the 1967 war and the heroic Israelis who gave their lives to protect the Jewish people. We had lunch in a Druze village and then headed to the Jordan River to go rafting. We made a quick stop at an outdoor shopping mall to eat dinner and then finished the night with a fun activity to get ready to welcome the Israelis on Friday.
