TL-47-380 Update 8

Day 8 and the groups doing great!

Relationships strengthen, conversations deepen, and friendships are constantly being formed. As our journey is nearing the conclusion, the magic that is being built here is just the beginning of lifelong friendships and connectivity within the community we have formed.

We began our day eating breakfast at the Beduion tents. A delicious spread of options and hot liquids. We loaded the bus and headed to Be’er Sheva. We explored  the Negev through and organization called Shaar HaNegev. Very innovative. Then we saw Ben Gurions grave and explored that area of the desert. Then we had time to explore Be’er Sheva, get lunch, and time for shopping. We then had the pleasure of experiencing the ‘I love BASH art’ exploration. Walking tour of the neighborhood listening to stories of the artist and the development of the city through art and expression. I think we will all remember the Imaginary Duck artist. We got to enjoy the graffiti tour and eat local snacks from venders in the neighborhood. Then we drove to Tel Aviv- our final destination on our trip. Most of the group was tired by his point, so it was the first quiet bus ride where most took their naps. We had dinner, a reflective conversation discussing the Beduion and Be’er Sheva experience. The participants had time to bond in the lobby and had a lovely evening.

We are beginning to plan our post travels (for those extending their time post trip), or travel home to loved ones. Either way, we are now in Tel Aviv and are wrapping up our chapter together. Stay tuned for the final 2 updates!

Respectfully,
Hal, Natalie, Jonathan
