TL-46-996 Update 1

Day 1 Of bus 996 was a hit! We landed bright and early at 6:50 am and got through the airport and met our great Israeli staff. We then grabbed a bite to eat and headed for our first stop – the Caesarea coast. The water was stunning and the architecture was exquisite. We then went to the Neve Tzedek gardens and learned about the history of the Jews in the 1880s, who with the support of the Rothchilds were able to create Jewish settlements. We even got to see the beautiful Rothchild grave. We went on a short hike. We then grabbed lunch and headed up to Kibbutz Snir where we’re staying for the next two nights. We’ve had some dynamic engaging conversations about Israel and Judaism – I’m loving the curious and analytical energy everyone is bringing to the trip. Can’t wait for more to come!
