TL-46-469 Update 3

Wow! In the blink in of an eye and half the trip is behind us!

On Thursday, we picked up our Israeli soldiers and our group was finally complete! They fit in perfectly and have become friends already! We explored Jerusalem, visited the Western Wall, and experienced both day life and nightlife at Machane Yehuda.

We had a beautiful Shabbat. A day full of rest, reflection, and relaxation. Some choose to sleep all day and some took a lovely stroll over to the Israel Museum! We came together for Havdallah and had a meaningful and open discussion about Jewish identity, connection, and prepared for Yad Vashem.

On Sunday, we started by going to Yad Vashem, the Israeli Holocaust Museum. It was a somber and heavy experience, yet extremely important and meaningful. We went to Har Herzl and learned the inspiring stories of some of the soldiers who lost their lives in action.
Talk about #ToTheMax we are on our way down to the desert where we will disconnect in order to connect deeper with those around us! We will be living out of our backpacks from this point on until Tuesday! Wish us luck!
