TL-46-354/1082 Update 6

Wait, is it Monday already?!? The time flew – yet at the same time it feels like we have known some of these folks on this journey for weeks now. So many lifelong friendships formed and memories created. Today was a long but fulfilling day. We woke-up for coffee and cake at 4am (yes, you heard correctly), then left the Bedouin camp site and began the hike up Masada, all before 5am. Many enjoyed hiking Masada – we all got up that gigantic mountain- I feel like a proud parent of our Birthright family- Mazel y’all! After Finishing Masada, we drove back to tent site. This was followed by a highly anticipated breakfast in the Bedouin tent. Then we went to the much anticipated Dead Sea. Our Birthright crew had the opportunity to be interviewed by the second largest TV news in Israel. We learned more about the Dead Sea and got to spend hours enjoying the floating and food in the area. We then drove to Mitzpe Ramon and had some time in the mall for shopping and snacks for those who requested it. We arrived at the hotel, ate a delicious dinner (the stuffed peppers were incredible! Thankful for the continued options in food).

We then had the Israeli participants lead one of their games that was great fun. Dancing, interpretation of Hebrew songs, and tons of laughter. Congratulations to teams 2 & 4! Time for rest, we have another busy day tomorrow as we enter the final 48hrs together on #bus354 and #bus1082!
