TL-46-354/1082 Update 2

Wow, day two, who knew! After an evening of bonding overlooking the Sea of Galilee, chatting about life, and playing charades, and for some- a good night’s rest, we began our day with breaking the fast – aka breakfast, yummy! Some were already awake for the sunrise – what an experience to those that witnessed it!

We then began our day by learning about mine-clearing (from a safe distance) at Tel Facher overview. We then went on a hike in the upper Galilee and enjoyed rocks, learning about geologist terms, waterfalls, and other beautiful scenery of Tel Dan. The pictures will speak for themselves. We enjoyed lunch before going rafting on the Jordan River. Wow, what a time! Some fell out of the boat but were safe thanks to the low rapids and the supportive members of our bus. After an hour and a half on the water, and thankfully no one harmed or sunburned, we returned to the hotel to shower and refresh. Dinner with our crew, then more bonding- this time not only charades, but ping pong (it became a tournament and so many participated), and we played card games, and many engaged in deeper conversations about life and their purpose in this world. All in all, it was a lovely second full day with our crew, #bus354 & #bus1082- slowly becoming a united group as friendships are planted and watered. Tomorrow is a busy day, so some were able to catch those ZZZs – the art of sleeping is priceless. To those that stayed up until the late hour bonding, there will be time to sleep on the bus tomorrow while we drive to Tzfat – the Jewish mysticism birthplace. Tomorrow is an exciting day for sure, get ready and stay tuned to your loved ones’ adventures in the Holy Land.

With much love and appreciation,
