TL-41-62 Update 1

Bus 62 had a great start of the trip, travelling to the aqueduct of the ancient city of Caesarea to recite the Shehecheyanu, the blessing of new beginnings. We traveled from there to Ramat Hanadiv, for a short hike, icebreakers, and a visit to an excavated Byzantine bathhouse. There was some rain, but that didn’t dampen the group’s excitement for the trip ahead! Today, we are learning about the geopolitics that influence and impact the region. We visited the former fortification of Tel Facher, visited the archaeological excavations at Tel Dan, traveled to the observation point at Mount Bental, and soaked up the evening at the hot springs in Tiberias. Tomorrow we will visit the mystical and spiritual city of Tzfat, and travel on to Jerusalem!
