TL-30-443: Today, the group toured Jerusalem’s old city. They began with a beautiful view of the entire city from the Haas Promenade. Then, they headed inside and walked the City of David tunnels tour. Afterward, they walked around the ancient streets of the Old City and visited the Kotel, or Western Wall. Before lunch, the group had one final activity with their Israeli peers to say goodbye, as the mifgash portion of their trip ended. Later in the day they traveled to Mahane Yehuda, a large open air market, and then returned to the hotel to prepare for Shabbat. They welcomed in Shabbat and enjoyed a delicious Shabbos dinner together.

TL-30-444: The group began their morning in Jerusalem at the Haas Promenade for a spectacular view of the entire city. Then, they made their way into the Old City and walked the City of David tour. After spending time walking around the Old City, they arrived at the Kotel or Western Wall and had time for personal reflection. After lunch on their own, the group traveled to Mahane Yehuda, a large open air market, to explore and shop. In the afternoon, the group also said a sad goodbye to their Israeli peers who have been with the group for the past few days. At the end of the day, the group headed back to the hotel to prepare for Shabbat. They welcomed in Shabbat and ate a festive Shabbat dinner together.

TL-30-445 and TL-30-446: Today, the groups began their day in Jerusalem by welcoming a handful of Israeli peers onto the trip. The Israeli’s will travel with the group for the next few days as part of the mifgash program. Then, after some icebreakers, the entire group traveled to the Old City. They visited the Davidson Center to learn about the southern excavation of the Western Wall. Then, they walked around the Old City, stopping at the Western Wall, or Kotel, for some personal reflection. After lunch, the group traveled to Mahane Yehuda, an open air market, to explore and shop. Then, they returned to the hotel to prepare for Shabbat. The group welcomed in Shabbat with a candle lighting ceremony and enjoyed a delicious Shabbat dinner followed by an evening Oneg.

TL-30-447: This morning the group left the north and made their way to Jerusalem to spend the next few nights. Upon arrival, they visited the Haas Promenade lookout to see a beautiful view of the entire city of Jerusalem. Here, they welcomed several Israeli peers into their group who will join their trip for the next few days. After some icebreakers and lunch, the group traveled to Mahane Yehuda, a large open-air market in Jerusalem, to explore. Then, the group returned to the hotel to prepare for Shabbat. They welcomed in Shabbat with a candle lighting ceremony and ate a festive Shabbat dinner together. They finished the night with group activities and Oneg.
