TL-30-420 and TL-30-422: The day for these groups began with a beautiful hike on Mount Arbel before departing for Jerusalem. TL-30-421: The group landed in Israel very early this morning and, after a long journey, all is well in Israel! After arriving at Ben Gurion Airport, the group met their Israeli tour guide, Hadar, and headed straight to the beautiful Mediterranean city of Caesarea. They took in views of the city’s ancient Roman ruins, played ice breaker games, and participated in an opening ceremony on the beach. They continued north, stopping at the Stela Maris lookout in the city of Haifa, where they were able to view the entire city and and its beautiful sea port. In the evening, the group checked into a kibbutz. They enjoyed walking around the area, as it was their first time ever visiting a kibbutz. Before their evening program, the group ate their first Israeli dinner together at the kibbutz. The group led a candle lighting ceremony to bring in the Sabbath, and enjoyed their first Shabbat dinner together.
