We spent a relaxing Shabbat in a beautiful hotel overlooking the Jerusalem hills. We ate, napped, enjoyed some programs, and then ate some more. It was the perfect way to rest and prepare for a busy week.
This morning we visited the Old City of Jerusalem. The Western Wall was a highlight of our visit and a chance to learn more about the history and culture of Israel. In the afternoon we went to the Israel Museum and saw the Dead Sea Scrolls and the world’s smallest bible – the nano bible.
We drove into the desert and are now at our hotel. It’s time to go to sleep since we will be waking up in the dark to climb Masada to see the sunrise.
